The Church of England has published guidance for parishes on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Today the legalities of the Enthronement took place and we will shortly be sharing a recording of the ceremony on our websites.
This comes with my continued prayers for all of you as you minister in this difficult time. I have already heard a number of encouraging stories of gospel openings in this new dispensation.
We are good in this country at holding our nerve and steadying one another. But a pandemic is something else; you can't touch the virus, see it or even know where it is. It may be spread by those who don't even know they are infected
We took the decision earlier today and announced the cancellation of the service of installation for the Rt Revd Richard Jackson, Bishop of Hereford on Saturday 21 March.
The other day, I decided to cut my front lawn, it was glorious sunshine and as I finished the job, I noticed my neighbour's lawn was quite long too, as we know each other really well I decided to cut his, he's busy trying to fix cars for those working on the frontline.
Visiting Tenbury Wells this afternoon it was heartwarming to see the community spirit and hard work of the fire service and many volunteers as the cleaning up operation continues
