The vicarage in Tupsley has had an energy retro-fit as part of a national church pilot project
The Golden Valley Pilgrimage Route has been recognised as Herefordshire's unsung hero at this week’s Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards. The pilgrimage route received the honour during the annual awards night that showcased the best of the county's thriving tourism industry.
A team of three Net Zero Carbon Project Managers advisors are being appointed to support the three dioceses on the journey to reduce carbon emissions from clergy homes, church buildings and schools.
Prior to all the changes, we would put the heating on in church at 3am in the morning but the church always felt cold, and temperatures rarely reached double digits.
