As a Diocese, we care greatly for our communities, and Revd Joe Simons our Mission Enabler (Church and Soceity) helps to support this work. Some of this work is at the local Parish level, such as helping a community develop a Good Neighbour Scheme, whilst other aspects are more strategic, such as working across sectors to address the challenge of homelessness and supporting people to be able to remain in their homes.
We focus on the issues that are particularly pertinent to our very rural Diocese and our demographic – from building links to support and enhance our environment to building more dementia-friendly communities and churches.
