Support for Ukraine includes spiritual and practical support. Regular prayer and giving generously to charities working in Ukraine and welcoming Ukrainian refugees to a home in the UK are part of the ways in which people can help:
- Hosting/Sponsoring: Host a Ukrainian Individual or Family. Further details found here. Click here for a FAQ about hosting and what might be expected. Sponsoring a person or family can make a difference to how the journey begins. Please contact our team.
- Supporting Refugees: There are many organisations working around the county to support refugees, particularly in the market towns and city of Hereford. Please get in touch with our team.
- Supporting Ukraine: There are two charities in Herefordshire who are collecting aid to send out to Ukraine, Hereford Help for Ukraine run by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain and Ukraine Freedom Company which is run by British volunteers. Both charities seek donations and/or voluntary time to support the aid deliveries to hospitals and the front lines which is helping to save lives.
