Hereford City Deanery are seeking to appoint 2 Fulltime Parish based LifeLink Chaplains, growing faith in our two strong Church Secondary Schools, initially in a 4-year project.
This post, working closely with The Hereford Academy School (THA), will work in all three arenas of school, home and church life with around 50% of time spent in school and 50% with family and community links in order to build on spiritual questions and create ‘sticky’ faith. The successful candidate will relate naturally with students and others, engage closely with CofE school vision priorities, develop creative ways to explore Christian faith, and empower students to grow into discipleship and spiritual leadership. The nature of the role means that there is a genuine occupational requirement to be a practising Christian.
Applicants may be lay or ordained.
Salary – up to £28,500 37.5 hours per week
