A spokesperson for Hereford Diocese said: “We can confirm that following his return from Venice, on Tuesday 25 February, the Rt Revd Richard Jackson sought advice from NHS 111 and took the precautionary measure of self-isolating
Some years ago, I attended the funeral of a very gifted young man who died all too young of a very nasty but short illness. His family had a vibrant Christian faith and the funeral was a great celebration of resurrection hope in a packed church.
This is my first article in the Hereford Times since I became Bishop of Hereford a couple of weeks ago. I'm very grateful for the many notes of welcome and good wishes that I have received since moving to Hereford.I am very much looking forward to eventually getting out and about as soon as social distancing permits.
