Evangelism in Theory and Practice from Different Traditions

This is the first of two Bishop's Study Day events taking place during our Year of Engagement.  The event will focus on Evangelism in Theory and Practice from Different Traditions

Come join us for a day of learning and discussion on Evangelism in Theory and Practice across different church traditions. This event will be held at Craven Arms Community Centre, where we will explore various approaches to sharing our faith in today's world via our two guest speakers, Revd Steve Hollinghurst, Mission Enabler Environment, Hereford Diocese and Revd Charlotte Gibson, Anglo-Catholic Mission Enabler Birmingham Diocese.

People often think evangelism is only for those who identify as evangelical or for the kind of people who speak at large events. Whatever your church tradition, experience or understanding of evangelism, this event is intended to help all of us think again about evangelism and how we and our churches might engage with it in new ways. Our speakers come with a breadth of understanding and experience, and we will share with them and each other as we explore the church’s calling together. Don't miss out on this opportunity to deepen your understanding of evangelism in a diverse theological landscape.

Lunch will be provided as part of hospitality from Bishop Richard. This event is open to anyone. Babies and young children are welcome to attend, but must be kept under the supervision of their responsible adult/carer.
