Our social media channels are an integral part of our communications strategy.
The Digital Communications Apprentice (Social Media) will be responsible for delivering social media content that furthers the mission of our Diocese. This will involve increasing our reach, engagement, and creating community. They will learn how to post regular content writing, designing and posting infographics and video to showcase the work of our Churches across Herefordshire and South Shropshire as well as parts of Monmouthshire, Powys and Worcestershire.
This role will learn to manage and monitor social media channels which include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. They will learn how to measure success in this area, develop, recommend and implement improvements and liaise with colleagues across the organisation to ensure social media plays an integral part of the way we share news and information. The Bishop of Hereford is seeking to appoint a new Archdeacon of Ludlow. As a Diocese our Shared Priorities focus on inspiring each generation and growing Christians of all ages and backgrounds, responding to the needs of our neighbours and developing new priorities in ministry for mission.
The Archdeacon is a key member of our strategic leadership team. We can offer a demanding role with plenty of creative potential. The new Archdeacon will be encouraged to develop her/his gifts as part of a team of people dedicated to sharing the gospel.

We are looking for two Parish Giving Advisors who are committed to helping us grow our Christian communities. We are seeking motivated people to encourage and enable a Diocesan-wide spirit of generosity to secure resources to make this happen.
We are looking for energetic people with good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to encourage and motivate others in generous stewardship in a rural setting. We seek specialisms in Giving Development (1 post, half time) and Ministry Development (1 post, half time). We are open to creative proposals to filling these roles, including from clergy considering combining them with Parish ministry. Read more
