Bodenham: St Michael & All Angels, HR1 3JU
Welcome to St Michael and All Angels' Church, Bodenham, living out our faith in the heart of Herefordshire countryside.
In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, we have suspended public worship until further notice. Sunday worship is published around 10.30am each Sunday on our Youtube channel; prayer and other video reflections are also published here. Please keep an eye on this site and our Facebook Page. Our Churches are now closed for private prayer.
The parish of Bodenham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
A service of Sung Communion, with hymns, sermon and prayers. All welcome. Incense used on feast days. Resources for children and families to engage with worship.
A reflective, prayerful service of choral evensong (Book of Common Prayer) led by our church choir. St Michael’s is a “quire or place” where an anthem is sung. Incense used occasionally. All most welcome.
A short said service of Common Worship morning prayer. All welcome. Please keep an eye out on the noticeboard for last minute changes in services.
Our Lent Course starts on Thursday 14th March and is based on the BBC TV Series Broken. We will watch the episode together and then have a discussion. Tea and coffee available. While there is a story thread through the series, each episode and the issues raised do stand alone, so don’t worry if you can’t make every meeting.
A prompt 2pm start, finishing at 3.30pm in the St Ethelbert’s Room, Marden Church.
