Wellington: St Margaret Of Antioch, HR4 8AZ
Welcome to St Margaret of Antioch church in the small village of Wellington. The church has been here for many years with parts of it dating back to the 12th century. Despite the age of the building, we like to present a much more modern approach to our ministry and worship.
We have a service at 1100 every Sunday (except the 5th Sunday of the month when there is a group service at 1030 at one of the churches in the benefice.
On the first Sunday of the month there is a short service of Morning praise which is lay led. The second and fourth Sundays are Eucharist whilst the third Sunday is a family service. All Services are based on Common Worship.
In addition there is a short Eucharist service every Friday at 0930.
Wellington is part of a benefice of 6 churches which spreads from here almost to Weobley.
Sadly our Vicar retires at the end of October and his farewell Service will be held in St Margaret's church on 29 October at 1030. Thereafter we enter a period of interregnum. Despite his departure activity continues with services still to be held as close as possible to the former pattern.
A movable feast around the churches in the group.
Lay Led service of praise and hymns
