We're on the move - last Friday saw a big move take place for the Diocesan team based at Ludlow, following the decision to close the diocesan office space on the Eco Park.

This decision to relocate to a more flexible staff model was taken following a consultation with staff based at the site. It reflects our commitment to living out the principles of good stewardship in all aspects of our work, whilst balancing the practical needs of our business operations. As staff return from furlough many of our diocesan team remain working from home. The Hereford office continues to remain closed to the public and visitors, it makes little sense to maintain running costs on used office space.  We are however delighted that we will retain hot desk and meeting space in Ludlow Mascall centre and St Laurence's Church, Church Stretton ensuring we maintain a key presence in the Ludlow Archdeaonry.

As with any office move, we have identified a number of pieces of furntiture which are available to collect, please contact our office team in Hereford if you would like any items including office chairs, several bookshelves, desks and filing cabinets. We also ask that parishes update records and send all correspondence to our office in Hereford.

Lastly, we wanted to add a big thank you to Office Manager, Kerry Preedy who supported by Sian Lines from our Education team, organised the removal vans and relocation. Kerry has worked tirelessly to ensure all has gone smoothly including supporting the set-up of remote IT infrastructure for colleagues and organising the new layout of furniture in the Hereford office. We hope she enjoys a well-earned rest this weekend.
