Diocesan Mission Funding
2019 Small MAP Grants
Do you have an idea for a small project in your benefice that will help grow Christians of all ages and backgrounds, both numerically and spiritually? Does it help you deliver an action identified in your benefice Mission Action Plan? If so, then you can apply for a grant of up to £150 towards the cost of that work.
There are many opportunities for mission, and your latest Mission Action Plan will have identified several ways in which you might do this at a benefice level. Some of those ideas require resources, and this scheme offers a helping hand towards those costs.
Perhaps you need some equipment for mission, such as new noticeboards, or some equipment for activities. What about printed materials? Do you need more leaflets, bibles or books? Is there a training course some of your community would benefit from, or are there any training course materials you require? Or perhaps you’ve a great idea for a community event and need some equipment for some group activities or promotional material.
Whatever your project may be, as long as it meets the Diocesan Shared Priority 1 – Growing Christians of all ages and backgrounds – spiritually and numerically, and helps you deliver an action in your Mission Action Plan, this Small MAP Grants Scheme can help.
Simply complete the attached one page (two-sided) application and return it to us. We aim to let you know if you have been successful within two weeks of receiving your application.
