WORLD DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIP

The Council's work is to foster and encourage an interest in the world-wide church.

Renewal of the Companionship Link with the Dioceses of Dar, Masasi, and
Tanga in Tanzania is undergirded by substantial development of new parish, school and hospital links as well as sponsorship of 6 ordinands by our Diocese. All this is overseen by the Tanzanian Committee.

The European Committee has continues to build on its links with Romania by becoming associated with the Sarn Parish Development Group, as well as liaising closely with the Nuremberg link.

The Bromyard Buhuri Link has been running for several years now. We have links with an agricultural institute specialising in the conservation of natural resources. There are now links with Churches and Schools.
Tanzanians visit Bromyard to learn about our culture and the way we do things and to help build our friendships and mutual understanding. On alternate years a party goes to Buhuri.
