EXHIBITIONS FOR LOAN

The CSR has several exhibitions which are available for loan. These may be used by church or non-church organisations which are looking for an exhibition to support a particular piece of work or engage interest from the public around a specific theme.

Current exhibitions are:

• RoadPeace – an exhibition examining the impact of road crashes
• Migrant & Seasonal Workers – a small exhibition with images dispelling the mythology of migration, supported by a theology paper entitled “In a Strange Land”.
• Changing World, Emerging Church – a look at how the church has evolved to meet the needs of a changing society.

In 2008 CSR will be creating three new exhibitions. The first will be around the theme of domestic violence, the second about HIV / AIDS and the third will be called “Sharing Our Story”, the theme of this year's Diocesan Conference.

HIV / AIDS

In 2008 CSR will be focusing on AIDS as one of its priorities. An exhibition and supporting material will be available later in the year and in time to promote World AIDS Day on 1 st December.

YEAR OF THE CHILD

2009 is the 30 th anniversary of the United Nations' International Year of the Child. It is expected that CSR, together with the Diocesan Children's Officer, will be putting together a touring exhibition which will travel around the Diocese during the year. Updates on this project will appear in the CSR newsletter Scooter and on this website.
