Safeguarding Children Training
In line with the recommendations of the House of Bishops it is the responsibility of all parishes to appoint a Child Protection Representative for the parish or to make arrangements for such a Representative to be appointed for a group of parishes or a benefice.
The following are the current training dates and you will see that we now have two different training sessions available.
The Basic Awareness Children and Vulnerable Adults training is a that all child protection representatives should attend once every three years.
The Practical Safeguarding Workshop is for those who are practically involved in children's and youth work. As this training looks further into safeguarding there is a small fee of £10 per person or £15 for two from the same Parish/es.
