Who Should Undertake Safeguarding Training?
All Parish/Benefice Child Protection or Vulnerable Adult Representatives should attend basic training and should seek to update that training approximately every 3 years.
All those who work with children or young people in a church context should try to attend safeguarding training with the Diocese of Hereford. Although many may feel that they have undertaken safeguarding in their workplace the diocesan training deals with safeguarding issues within the context of church life.
