Belmont Abbey is a community of monks, founded in 1859, following the Rule of St Benedict.
Every year the Community welcomes a variety of groups and individuals to the Abbey for residential retreats and days of recollection.
A series of organized retreats are run through the year, on a variety of themes but individuals and groups are also welcome to use the abbey facilities.

At Black Venn an old wain shed and granary has been converted to provide a ground floor flat and a large open room above The Barn is available for clergy or others who need a retreat or a bolt-hole for days off, for families needing a break, or for Parish Groups looking for a simple venue for an Away day or a Confirmation Group etc.

There is no charge, but particularly in the winter months, a contribution towards heating costs may be appreciated. Otherwise, we have a small Charitable Trust, currently supporting HIV/AIDS work in Lesotho, and those who have enjoyed using the Barn may like to make a donation

This seventeenth century farmhouse idyllically situated above the Upper Wye Valley in the Cambrian Mountains.

No-one can visit Ffald-y-Brenin without being instantly impacted by its beauty and setting. The buildings are stone-built and blend in perfectly with the hillside, providing a variety of simple yet comfortable accommodation for groups, families and individuals.
The centre includes 34 Beds and some camping space. A common area, beehive chapel, meeting/prayer room and a smaller meeting/craft room. The Vestry is only 5 minutes away and seats up to 120

The Bishop's Palace is on the banks of the River Wye in Hereford and has extensive gardens.
The ruins of St Catherine's Chapel have been restored as a quiet garden with benches and a new copperbeech altar.
Facilities available to be booked include the Great Hall, the Bishop's Private Chapel (if not in use), the garden and garden chapel.

The Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing was established in 1986 as a Centre for the Christian Healing Ministry.
Church Groups and individuals are welcome onto training courses on, or relevant to, Christian Healing (contact centre for more details) or for a few days in quiet, caring surroundings, during which time prayer ministry is available for those who seek it

In addition to the three principal courses, Hawkstone offers short courses and retreats.
Independent groups are also welcome to use the facilities of Hawkstone. Details on request.

Holland House, Retreat, Conference, has been offering hospitality to a variety of groups and individuals for over 60 years.
Set in beautiful gardens on the edge of the River Avon, the black and white timbered Tudor buildings offer a 'safe space' where you are encouraged to feel at home.
Holland House offers a variety of meeting spaces in a 17th Century half-timbered thatched building with modern additions that include the conference room, drawing room, library and chapel .

House of Azar exists to provide a variety of resources to Churches, Christian organisations and individuals.
At its heart is a willingness to be available firstly to God and then to others to build up, comfort and refresh the people of God.
Available are short breaks, study breaks, individual retreats, soul friendship, pastoral care and a variety of quiet days and prayer and teaching days.

Lindors is a charming 19th century property situated in the Welsh borders.
Accommodation is available for 48 people in Lindors Country House and 22 people in the 5 self-contained pine lodges in the grounds. There are 3 conference rooms and the leisure facilities include a 15 metre (48ft) heated indoor swimming pool.

Available for a private retreat, group residential or day/evening meetings. A self-catering cottage is also available onsite.

The P'east Wing of Maggie's cottage can be booked for self-catering holiday - short stay or long.
It is fully equipped with all you need including plenty of books on all subjects and lots to see and do or just atke time to BE instead of rushing - There is no TV

The Pottery has a bed / sitting room with bathroom and kitchen attached.

This luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation at Priors Mead is full of character and history.
The spacious bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms.
Home cooked food using fresh local ingredients from the vegetable garden and local suppliers.

The rectory is a working Rectory. It has a quiet room on the first floor for the use of one or two people, and a larger meeting room on the ground floor which is suitable for groups of up to twenty. The church is next door. The house is not easy for wheelchair access.

The garden is being developed as a garden for reflection, a quiet garden for use by individuals or small groups.

Only available during school term time.

Quiet Gardena and Open Home available for a quiet and nourishing space, set aside for simple reflection and contemplation on the last Friday of every month.

Days are offered free of charge - prior booking is reccommended.

Treago Castle Cottages have been carefully converted from the stables of the fifteenth century Treago Castle. This quiet, rural location in Herefordshire is an ideal spot for large or small groups to get together in self catering accommodation, yet it is within 9 miles of the M50.

They also offer the house to small parish groups (up to about 10/12) for quiet days using the drawing room for meetings. Contact for further information and to discuss arrangements for refreshments, lunches etc.
Special mid-week rates for church groups.

3 Self-Catering Cottages cater for up to 26 people (whole group can eat together in largest cottage).

Other facilities include arrangements for 10-15 people for quiet days in the house, 5 acres of grounds for reflective walks, 11 meter indoor swimming pool, and wine tasting by arrangement in advance on site.
