The Diamond Jubilee .................................... LATEST!
The Diamond Jubilee 2012 presents churches with a great opportunity to be at the centre of community celebrations for this great event in national history.
The Church of England and other national churches are encouraging as many churches as possible to take part. Each church is encouraged to be creative in working with local community groups to decide together how to mark the occasion and be part of the celebrations. This may be as simple as just having the church open over the jubilee period if it is not open normally. The Church of England Big Thank You initiative is another easy way of taking part. This is a great opportunity for churches to work with groups in the community and to help to build community.
My Diamond Jubilee New Testament Story.....Over 655,000 Diamond Jubilee New Testaments are being given away for the Jubilee.
