Paddy Benson was appointed Archdeacon of Hereford on the 16th January, 2011. As Archdeacon he has jurisdiction over the Deaneries of Abbeydore, Bromyard, Hereford, Kington and Weobley, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross and Archenfield, with matters relating to buildings, finance and pastoral reorganisation. He will be working with the Bishops of Hereford and Ludlow and the Diocesan Offices in the strategic oversight of the Diocese and care of the Clergy. He will be ably assisted by Anne Culley who will manage all enquiries.

Alistair Magowan was appointed Bishop and Archdeacon of Ludlow in September 2009, following 9 years as Archdeacon of Dorset in the Diocese of Salisbury. As Archdeacon, he has jurisdiction over the 6 Ludlow Deaneries dealing with matters relating to buildings, finance, pastoral reorganisation and law. He works collegially with the Bishop of Hereford and the wider Diocesan team in the appointment, development and care of the clergy.
