Membership: Social Responsibility Officer & Chair, Community Funding & Partnership Officer, Missioner for Environment, Agriculture & Rural Life, Council for World Partnership & Development Chair & Adviser, Evangelism Committee Secretary, Interfaith Officer, Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Finance, Chairman of the House of Laity, Communications Officer, Ecumenical Officer, Disability Adviser, Chaplain for the Deaf.

The work of the Board for Church & Society covers a wide range of activities and through our officers and committees we engage in a multitude of activities both in church life and our wider society. All our activies correspond with the Diocesan Aims and Objectives but perhaps more pertinently cover all of the 5 Marks of Mission. Indeed we have found that the latter provides a most useful framework both for reviewing our work and setting our priorities.

As a Board we meet quarterly. Each agenda gives opportunity for review of current activity, opportunity for the officers to give thier written reports, the setting of priorities and where appropriate agreeing collaborate and joint working of officers.
