News from the Mothers' Union Office
Our Quiet Day will be led by the Very Revd Nick Bury, formerly Dean of Gloucester, on The Gift Givers - reflections on paintings of Mary, Martha and Jesus. It takes place on Thursday 17th May at Hennor House near Leominster, from 10am to 3.30pm. Drinks provided, but please bring your own lunch. Booking is essential - please contact Liz in the office (373306) to book, or for further information, including directions.
All the dates for 2012 including Trustee meetings, Cathedral Midday Prayers and diocesan meetings are available now. All branches will be receiving the latest edition of the Newsletter or it is available from Liz.
Soon, we will be entering the third year of the Triennial. This spring there will be elections for a new Diocesan President and new Vice Presidents. We also need new trustees to fill some vacancies. Please do consider prayerfully whether you or someone you know is being called to work for the Mothers' Union in this way. Trustees need to be able to attend 6 meetings a year in Hereford.
Welcome to Pat Brenner from Weobley who joined us as trustee in January 2012
