For a copy of Faith and Policy Watch available at the start of each month go to www.themothersunion.org/policy.aspx where you can either download it or read on line. This month there are articles about the continuing work of the Bye Buy Childhood Campaign; Violence against women and girls; the Law Commissions proposals on inheritance; Children's access to parents plus a New year Reflection by Joyce Rupp.
Also there is currently a survey entitled "Cross-Government definition of domestic violence: a consultation". Please do consider going to the MSH website and filling in the survey. Domestic violence is increasing in this country.

At the Diocesan Council on 28th November Mo Williams gave a fascinating and informative talk about her work with the South Shropshire Women's Refuge. There was mention of the Domestic Violence Helplines. The telephone numbers are:
