Kairos Limited

The Kairos Partnership is a charity, supported by the Diocese of Hereford, to work with local faith groups to start and develop projects to help their communities.
If you have a great idea to help your community and are you looking for help to turn your idea into a practical proposition, or wish to expand your existing project Kairos is here to help you nurture your idea.

We work with any community group, with a faith-base (whether Christian, Muslim, Jewish or other recognised faith) that needs help to turn an idea into a workable project, or to grow a small project into a bigger one in your neighbourhood!

NEW VOLUNTEER GOOD PRACTICE GUIDE

This is an invaluable resource for all those organisations involved, or considering becoming involved, in working with volunteers. This new edition produced by the Herefordshire Volunteer Centre was
commissioned by the Herefordshire Infrastructure Consortium and funded by Capacity Builders.
It provides basic information on all the main areas of good practice ranging from practical Issues, such as insurance, to more complex issues, such as screening and retention. The layout is attractive and easy to follow with listings of other useful organisations and contacts. At the back are samples of forms and checklists that can be adapted for your needs.
To obtain a copy contact Angela Legg on 01432 343932 or go to www.herefordshireva.org to view an online version

In addition to the Diocescan Partnership Fund , we also have access to information about other sources of funding through the networks we are linked into, and through access to the Directory of Social Change, Directory of Grant Making Trusts.

If you need us to find a source of funding for your project, please call 01584 871089 or email j.gibbon@hereford.anglican.org with an outline of your project and we will do our best to help you..
